Give and receive

Christmas might be over, but it is still the season for giving and receiving. SciShow gave information about mistletoe and I received it by turning it into knowledge and rising above it.

Mistletoe is a parasite, so it takes from the trees it grows on. But it also gives back in the sense that it provides food for birds in winter. It might even hold a cure for certain cancers.

Teaching is often viewed as a giving while learning is taking. Teachers and students should do both. Students should also teach and teachers should keep learning. One cannot only give or take — it is unhealthy and irresponsible.

Would you let our friend Jeffery hit, for once and for all?
Sincerely,
