Tradition?

Posted on: December 1, 2020

I do not think that I have heard tradition defined this way before. So I decided to make an image quote of it.

Tradition is nothing but peer pressure from dead people.

I am not against looking back to be reflective or to learn from mistakes. I am against looking back to hold back.

It is traditional that only a teacher leads in the classroom. It is traditional that students take exams. It is traditional that students are pitted against each other. This does not mean that tradition is right. It does mean that we have not found a better way because we have not tried looking.
