Packrati.us is no more

Posted on: March 2, 2018

I am about as upset that Packrati.us has suddenly shut down as when Google took away Reader.

Pack what? Packrati.us was a service that allowed me to link my Twitter and Diigo accounts. Whatever URLs I shared on Twitter were automatically captured by Packrati.us and saved as a tagged bookmark in Diigo.

Packrati.us is no more!

The lone creator of Packrati.us offered the free service for longer than some flashy startups exist and I appreciate him for it. I blame Twitter’s move to change API policy as a the final straw.

While the creator of Packrati.us offered two alternatives, they are both subscription based. I will need to reactivate one of two IFTTT applets I found in 2015 and see if they still work.
