There are disconnects that you cannot control when attempting to integrate technology. Age and gender are examples, but these do not really matter.
On the other hand, there are disconnects that you can manage or mitigate. Teacher mindset and access divides are examples, and these really matter.
This sounds logical when it is put plainly and simply. Unfortunately, people still focus on things like age (e.g., the so-called digital native) instead of attitudes like stubborn pedagogy.
