Riddle me this

Posted on: April 5, 2013

If you have ever wondered why people in management, policymakers, or those in authority tend to be wary of social media, then consider this example.

I Storified a recent series of tweets which started with @MOEsg asking this riddle:

I concluded the curated story with this statement: If this was an assassination, the body might be described as “riddled with bullets”.

To @MOEsg’s credit, it did not respond or seem to blush.

To its discredit, it did not respond by taking higher ground and leveraging on the opportunity for a learning moment. There is a reason it is called “social” media. You have to embrace it, messiness and all.
