Revisiting CeL’s 10% time

In 2010, I implemented a variation of Google’s 20% time at the CeL in a bid to encourage my staff to work on a project or passion of their choice. They can use 10% of their work time to do this.
In 2010 documented that idea here.
Now in 2012, I document that idea in Storify.

My 10% time is volunteering with the Girls Brigade Singapore as an officer. Hanging around with students helps me stay young. #cel10 -
Volunteering with GB also gets me on the ground with students & teachers – helps me know what’s happening in Sch… #cel10 -
Being in Sch helps understand what educators & learners face in the changing education scene in SG #cel10 -

@HweekhimChoo That 10% is still official work. How about something like enrichment or entertainment? Smoking does not count!:) -
