What is an “OK plateau”?

According to Joshua Foer it is your comfort zone. The same comfort zone that prevents you from being better than you could be.

He suggested at least four strategies for climbing out of the OK plateau but I like the these two.

Foer suggests that to break out of your comfort zone you should study yourself fail. He gave examples of how the exceptional talents made it a point to do what was difficult or unpopular.

Another strategy was to study or emulate somebody who is better than you.
