There is no BEST practice

I tweeted this recently in response to one of the MOE Workplan Seminar taglines “every school, a good school”.
For every school to be a GOOD school, schools have to share BEST practices. But there BETTER be some change in mindsets & behaviours! #edsg—

But let us not kid ourselves. There is no BEST practice or set of practices. What works for one in a particular context is no guarantee that it will work for another in a different context.
If we do not want cookie cutter schools, we must abolish cookie cutter methods. Let us just share GOOD practice and let others decide what is BEST for them.
I think this is a BETTER approach than the assumption that there are best practices.
