Innovative buskers & knowledge workers

The video is titled The Human Jukebox, but that does not aptly describe how innovative this group of fundraisers is.
Buskers are a dime a dozen. A few are talented; many are not. The good ones expect to get more spare change by virtue of their superior talent. The less talented might get pity applause or people might pay them to stop!
The talented group in the video actually gave the money they earned away to a cause and as a result built up their reputational capital. I see parallels of the actions of these buskers to knowledge work.
Knowledge work means doing the same thing differently and better than the rest. It could also mean not just trying to address the bottom line or hitting a KPI. It might be about building reputational capital so that people want to engage you or employ you.
