Another dot in the blogosphere?

Thanks to FreeTechnologyForTeachers, I have discovered Spent. This is a game that I might introduce to my ICT class during the game-based learning portion of our course.

In one game station, I normally get my student teachers to experience the McVideo game and Dafur is Dying. I might either replace one of these games or include it in the same station.

What I like about these games is not only the emotions that they generate but also the complex thinking and the perspective-taking that are required to be good at the game.

Bernard & myself played Spent a million times while designing the Fin Lit game. We liked this game for it’s simplicity and how it made our brains work hard in the name of “playing”!

Indeed! Nice to find this end up here! Enjoyed it over sunday lazy afternoon, and go to make Sham played it right away. hehe. We took elements of it to incorporate into our game =p. After playing Im glad we are not facing proverty
