At the 4min 36sec mark, the facilitator asks the panel, “What does it mean to tweet about education?”
The panel answers this question and goes on to describe the power of education in personal learning networks (PLNs).

On the last day of my ESE, another student teacher who had his contract teaching experience in the same school (I didn’t have contract teaching experience) shared with us about using Twitter to communicate with his students when we were having a little chat with the principal. He said he gets to build better rapport and know the students better from reading their updates, and I thought it was quite interesting. =)
I just saw your twitter updates here by the side… my deepest condolences to you, your wife and your family.

Yes, Twitter is a good social platform. But it can be more than that.
As some educators are discovering, Twitter allows them to network and learn from like-minded educators from different parts of the world. That is a very powerful experience!
