I love this table that compares Education 1.0 with 2.0 with 3.0. It’s a very intuitive and revealing look at “education” as it is today.
The same group of folks also coined the phrase “knowmads.”

When you were growing up, weren’t you told that it was what was on the inside that counts? I couldn’t agree more.
I don’t like the so called talent shows that pretend to be “reality” shows, so I don’t watch them. But I like the exceptional talents that emerge and these invariably end up on YouTube.

One of the weaknesses of DIY multitouch, surface computers is the lack of software. Most current operating systems do not natively support simultaneous multiple inputs.
One option is to layer something like Flash over the OS that supports multitouch. Another option is to develop your own OS. But that is way too much work.
